Steps For Entry into the Surgical Technology Program

- Attend Surgical Technology Orientation at the Jill S. Weekley Learning Center (November 2012 through February 2013) (Required)
- Basic Skills Testing during Jill S. Weekley Learning Center hours (Optional)
- Begin self-paced classes or participate in group class, times available at orientation. (Optional)
- Schedule for Official Test (Cost available at Surgical Technology Orientation. Test given in March 2013.) (Required)
- Interview in May (Individuals who score the required percentiles on the pre-admission test will receive a letter of invitation to interview.)
- Await acceptance letter from JRTI Surgical Technology Program
- Enroll in Surgical Technology Program (class begins mid-August 2013)
