Steven Harris, Fire Science/EMS instructor at James Rumsey TI, led a CPR training course for several classes on Friday, September 14th. The presentation he gave was resourceful and practical for a handful of reasons. The short course he held gave insight on both how and when CPR should be given. He gave clear and concise hands-on instructions on what to do for different types of victims, including instruction for infants, children, or adults. The instructor stressed the importance of working in teams and stabilizing victims. The course equipped students with general knowledge on why, when, and how to perform CPR. They were given a glimpse at different situations/scenarios each individual might be faced with.

Thanks to Mr. Harris these students will be more prepared to face these situations in the future.
