On October 25th, 2019, our school ventured to historic Harper’s Ferry. As we traveled down past the river and through downtown, many all-day James Rumsey students hiked Maryland Heights and coursed to Jefferson Rock. There are many attractions that the students were able to view and understand the background of Harper’s Ferry. From the John Brown Wax Museum to the local shops, the students had a very exciting trip. Small business owners welcomed the students in and local restaurants served delicious food. This is a trip that they will all remember and are looking forward to another one next year!
