On December 21 at James Rumsey Technical Institute, Diesel Technology student Bryson Lewis was awarded a large scholarship from University of Northwestern Ohio. He attended the open house at UNOH in November where he took a competitive exam. Bryson earned the highest score out of 148 participants. Felicia Brown, a representative of UNOH, came to JRTI to award a $20,000 scholarship to Bryson for his achievement. He was joined by his mother Alison Brown and step father Jason Brown, his Father Bryan Lewis and step mother Amanda Davis, Diesel instructor Kevin Price, and JRTI High School Assistant Principal Andrew Albright. Bryson is a senior at Martinsburg High School and plans to attend UNOH in the fall.
